Homework will always be used as a tool to help your child practice skills learned previously at school. If it is a struggle to complete the assignment, please sign at the top of the paper so I can assist the next day.
Ways to help your child improve outside of school:
- Practice math facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Read with them for 20-30 minutes (this should be something they look forward to! Should not be a chore.)
- Need more books at home? Ask me!
- Have dinner as a family as much as possible
- Go outside and play with friends
- Be in bed at a reasonable hour to be recharged for the next day
